This site helps to determine if a specified address or area is in a Qualified Census Tract (QCT). How to find information about Alaska and other Insular Islands
Use the drop down menu at the top of the page under the Select a map view to view maps and information about other U.S. territories such as Alaska, Hawaii, and the insular islands. [Top]
How to find information about a location
If you have the exact address of the location then simply type the address in the space provided and click the Find button. The website will then use this information to display a map of the location. The website will provide the tract number of the location and a message indicating if that location falls in a QCT. [Top]
If you have the census tract number of the location, type it in the space next to Find by Census Tract Number and click on Find. The website will display a map of the location with information indicating if it falls within a QCT. [Top]
How to select features to be displayed
The Select the feature to be displayed and click on Redraw feature allows you to select any additional feature to be displayed in the map. Check the box next to the feature to be displayed and click on Redraw.
Note : You might need to zoom in to the map to view all the features selected. The features have been preset to a particular scale for better map clarity. [Top]
The website displays a legend attached to the map with details about the displayed information. It also provides a distance scale set in terms of the map units.
Note: The legend shows only the information displayed in the map’s current zoom. More, or less, information might be displayed in the legend as you change the zoom. [Top]
How to find more information about a Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Project
If you select the LIHTC Projects feature to be displayed, the map will display any LIHTC projects present (only if zoomed in to the right extent). The user can select the Map Info tool

You can click on the zoom in tool
(right side of the map). The user can also zoom out to a particular extent by selecting the level of zoom. [Top]
You can click on the zoom out tool
(right side of the map). The user can also zoom out by selecting the level of zoom. [Top]
You can select the zoom in and recenter tool
(above the map) and click on the map. The map zooms in after recentering to the clicked point. [Top]
You can select the zoom out and recenter tool

Select the Recenter tool (above the map) and then click on the map. The map will then recenter to the clicked point. [Top]
How to get back to the initial map
The users can use the Initial Map tool
